Fine story. And to those who question the 60 yard mark I say shame on you. Making fun of one of us aging shooters whose slow reflexes allow birds to get 40 or 50 yards out before we can locate them, remember to take the safety off, mount the gun, adjust our head position to get the right part of the bifocals or tri-focals aligned so we can see the barrels, bead or better yet the bird, then using arthritic fingers pull the trigger, avoid the flinch many of us experience and follow through the bird as we shoot so we hit one or two a day. Heck I bet he shaved ten yards off the shot in retelling it. Why do you think the man has to use a ten? He needs all the help he can get.
