Sorry, off topic but I am on a quest to find a FN Model 1900 semi auto rifle. The Model 1900 rifle is near identical to Browning Patent/Remington made Model 8'S and Model 81's .... if you by chance know where one is for sale please email me ... denwolfe@sbcglobal.net ... thanks

Twenty years or so ago I owned one of these, cased, with express sights, a rib on the barrel jacket, engraved and stocked by one of the famous English makers. It sported a flashlight which plugged into a special battery in the forend. My recollection today is that the flashlight was there but no battery and no way to find one. I sold it to the gent who wrote the little book on 8s and 81s, he in turn resold it, I ran into him at the last Vegas shows a month or so ago and he had lost track of the buyer.
