It snowed last night and most of today and the ground is covered again. I am so sick of snow. I invite those parts of the country that are too warm to swap some of our cold for their too warm.
Al Gore where are you?
Best,
Mike
I am glad to be here.

Mike, we have had more than our share of snow for this year of 2010. For the past 4 days it has been in the mid 60's to close to 70 and plus for today. I was hoping for another chucker shoot before the weather gets too warm. The chuckers are starting to lay now, and I don't know how much scent they will have. My friend who raises pheasants and chuckers has a few hundred left, I would like to help him out, but not with this temperature. When your area starts getting into the high 90's, you won't miss this.

Mike,
The Spokane paper today reported that the total snowfall for the year has been 13.7". Fourth least amount since record keeping began, with the temperature averaging out since Nov to around 37 degrees. We generally get a bit more here in N ID then Spokane, but we haven't gotten much more than that!
After last years record snowfall, over 100" in the area, the mild winter has been most welcome! Sorry, but I don't think we're ready to swap anyone for their bad weather.
One other note, it was so nice today that my wife and I decided to go out for a bike ride on the WA side of the Centennial trail, along the Spokane river! Plenty of geese and ducks on the river and even a cow moose standing on the opposite shore!

Well... I know what you mean, but I gotta say people are always unhappy with the weather.
Here in Houston, I'll take all the cold I can get. Because I have absolutely no difficulty remembering the years of sweating to death.
Cold weather? Send it down here!

Mike, ole huntin' buddy, right now in Fiordland, South Island, New Zealand, it's greener than a gourd, raining in Milford Sound, and about 17 celcius. Beautiful day for a tramp through the woods. Fall colors are just beginning. And the trout in the rivers are hungry. Life is good. Funny.....I don't have any remorse leaving Amarillo for March. Have a great time shoveling.....oh, would you go by my house and shovel it too?

I don't know what Al Gore has to do with the amazingly warm and dry winter we've had here in Wyoming, but I say he can bring all he wants!
