Mike or anyone.

I was wondering if anyone can point me toward referance material for this person. I am not sure if I've got the name just right. He was a single shot gunsmith from Minnesota who liked to work on Remington Hepburns and he developed some sort of bar contraption that worked with the firing pin. He was still active up until the 1970's as I bought a Hepburn action from him at that time. I know I've read something about him but I just can't remember where.

George I don't know any reference material. But I am sure yeas ago I was at his place several times. As I was born there and had a brother and family there which I used to visit fairly often when I was home on leave from the military. If we are talking about the same guy he had a shop out on the edge of town. (AND NOT VERY FANCY) smile. If that sounds right I have some relatives still around there. And I can email them for info if you think we are on the right track. Whitey

No I did not meet him. I bought the Hepburn through the mail. That is why I don't know more about him.
