Some of you here may have known my father, Dave Crowley, through his long involvement in the antique firearms world, especially in the upper mid-West. He was a charter member of the Heritage Arms Society, as well as an active member of CADA, Minnesota Weapons Collectors, and numerous other associations. When he passed away last November the family decided to auction off his significant collection of antique firearms. The Julia Auction Company is handling the auction, and since Julia is now in possession of the collection, there's no harm in giving you all a sneak preview. Some of you may have seen slices of this before, but this is the whole kit and caboodle, with multiple views of most pieces. I hope you agree that there are some interesting things in my Dad's eclectic collection. The October auction will be bittersweet for me, as I would prefer to keep the works, but they are not mine to keep. I can only hope his treasures find good homes.
