Lead closed Friday at $.71/lb.
Bravo. Apparently, we're doing a good job not buying lead.
This is significant, it was approching $1.20/lb in December.
Sub $30/bag shot might be coming to a distributer near you, perhaps by the end of the year.

The Spokane Gun Club is selling their very nicely cleaned and graphited reclaimed shot for $22 a bag to the public and $20 to members. Rumor has it Coeur d'Alene Skeet & Trap will be starting mining soon and plans to sell for $17.50 per 25# bring your own container.

Here in the "Land Without a Good Deal" [California; central coast] we are having a hard time getting any good "new" shot; current price is in the $36/bag + tax range--if you can get it.
Sunday June 6, I bought 10 bags of reclaimed "Earth Green" brand shot; best shot I have seen; $22/bag incl. tax. If you see this stuff, don't be shy; looks better than a lot of "junk" I have shot in the past.
Whoa! price of Winchester primers will still part-your-hair! But that's another story.
