Do not want hulls baled up and eventually fed to cattle, so avoid letting them fall in hay fields.

Brian you were probably the only guy out there who didn't get a littering ticket. You know he was lying if he said you were the only 12ga in the field - when has that ever been true? I have a bad taste in my mouth over a few of the "deputy wardens" that only appear on the first day of dove season. They are just junior nazi types on a power trip. Not like the normal State Game Protectors who will apply some good judgement to the situation. I have not been ticketed in 55 years of hunting but I have watched these guys work a field of dove hunters and find a reason to ticket most of them - many without justification. I now hunt where it is inconvenient for them due to access and very few hunters.

OT...

Jerry,
my experiance with AZ game and fish has been for the most part positive. The Federal Game wardens have been real jerks in Yuma. As the Yuma population grows I see less hunters every year. The Game wardens have been getting nicer and nicer every year. There will come a day where I will tell people how great the shooting was in Southern AZ.

There has been more Yuma population growth in the last 4 years than in the 15 previous years combined (just observations not real facts)

Brian, Yuma today is like the Imperial Valley was 30 years ago. Now, the Imperial Valley is getting to be like Orange County (just a lot hotter and less expensive), and Yuma is expanding the way Phoenix did 20 years ago. Go 30 miles east of Yuma and they are putting up shopping centers and motels. Gotta be the folks getting out of So Cal.
