Hi, AyA has made several BL models over the years. The current BL models that AyA offers today are:
4 Deluxe
4/53
XXV BLE
All the above are the same A&D action, all have ejectors and can be had with DT, SST or SNST. Bbl lengths will also vary (except for the XXV which is 25")
The differences is in the finish and engraving. The old Model 4 had very plain wood and the 4/53 had much nicer wood. The 4/53 means that the gun was a Model 4 with a Model 53 wood upgrade. Thus the 4/53.
The engraving on the 4 and 4/53 is very sparse and simple. The engraving on the 4 Deluxe and XXV is a full coverage floral design. The 4 Deluxe also has a scalloped frame and drop points.
The 4 Deluxe and the XXV are considered the top of the line.
The Cabela's brand is more of an upgraded 4/53 than anything else and is pretty standard all the way around (Coin finished action, full engraving and to be honest some real nice wood!).
These are very well made solid BL guns and will give you a lifetime of service.
If you do come across an AyA BL without ejectors, it will more than likely be a Model 3 or another model they made in the past.
