I was told by Paul Bruchet that both P model Darnes and Charlins were discontinued in 1965.
This was the year after he started work there. Darne had owned Charlin for a decade by then.

Aside from this 12 gauge slug gun, did Darne build/offer any double rifles?

Come to think of it, doesn't the writer Steve Bodio have a Darne double rifle? Or was that a custom job he had done on an original Darne shotgun (by Darne)?

JayCee, those two guns are the loveliest Darnes I've ever seen by far. The 10 gauge is exquisite; I never thought I'd say such a thing about any Darne!
