You can get at least formable brass from Jamison. It's good brass. It's not listed, but he might make 500-.450, call and see, or get a similar one (500 - .416) and form it to yours. It seems to me he said he was going to make it.

I bought a Field Patent .450 - 3 1/4" last spring, and it is one of the most fun rifles I've owned in a long time. I load with 120 grains of black and 385 grain lead bullet. Nice, light recoil load about factory spec, and accurate with my rifle at 30 yards.

Hi Guys. I am a collector in South Africa and I have just become the owner of a Westley Richards, Whitworth-rifled barrel on a Deeley and Edge Patent Drop Block Action for a No.2 cartridge rifle. I have checked it out and it is a .500/.450 cartridge. My problem is that the previous owner threw the internal working parts away in the belief that he would be deactivating it. I desperately need someone to assist me with detailed drawings of these parts to manufacture new ones for my beautiful old lady. I have a suspicion that she was used in the Second Boer War. Thank you. Ivan Alt (ivanalt@live.co.za)
