I want to order an AYA #2 to get my stock dimensions and options I want. Any recommnedations as to who to order from in the US?

I would go the stocking dealer nearest you. You don't tell us in your profile where you are locted. There are a number of good AyA dealers around. I am in Georgia, and have shopped in the past at a long established AyA dealer in the Buckhead section of Atlanta.

From their Website it looked like there were only 4 or 5 dealers in the country, none of them nearby

Try Harry Marx, I am not sure he does AyA anymore but it's where I would start if I lived in the Bay area. Jack Rowe in Enid, Ok. is AyA's oldest rep. in the US. They list dealers on their website - it appears the options on the left coast are limited. They have a US presence now but I am not sure what they are doing exactly. I emailed them this summer with a question but never heard back (the folks in Spain did reply, however). I have ordered special order AYA guns from New England Custom Guns. They are the AYA distributor for the Northeast.

They just moved their business to a more "retail like" location in Claremont NH. http://www.newenglandcustomgun.com/Never bought a AYA from them,but have done business and was happy with the results

AYA now has their own USA sales office, or they did about six months ago. The office has been set up within an existing sporting goods firm, which I've forgotten the name of. I ordered a toplever spring from them for my old model 51 and I had it within a couple weeks. My computer died since that order and I don't have the website, but if memory serves, it was something like ayausa.com. A google search will find it. Good luck.
