I have just purchased an old Krieghoff sxs marked Krieghoff (anchor symbol) Anson. DT,26" bbls, 12ga, 6 lb,5oz. Serial#588. No other numbers on the piece. Initials VT, other letters under what I take are crowns are U & S. Barrels marked nitro. Safety has 2 safe positions & is non automatic.
I am hoping someone can give me some info regarding its age,etc. Shoots very good.

Can you post pics of the water table and underside of barrel as well as flats?

Not familiar with posting pictures, but will give it a try later. One thing I omitted was 13/1 with 12 in a circle, which I was told meant .719 bore.
