I am in need of any info of a J. Cooper back action 12 ga with damascus barrels.
Neat gun with possiblities.
Barrels look as if they are worth restoring, needs hinge pin work and the normal clean up on wood.
Any useful info would be a delight

Well, if its a Brit there are three Coopers listed in Boothroyd:James in Warwickshire,John Richard&Co. in London and a J.R.&Co. in Birmingham that may be an iteration of the London Cooper. Please have a closer look at the flats and tell us more.

I have a nice J.R.(John Rock) Cooper. He was in Birmingham in the 1860's and 1870', I have heard. Below is my Cooper.
