A stocking stuffer that may have been found in a shooters Christmas stocking around 1910.
Three Harry Pope, Krag sight micrometers that have been modified to fit the 1903 Springfield.

You jumped ahead of me by a decade.

This is a 1940's Neal receiver sight. It is one of the first of the really niffty post- war sights.

This will take us (lastly) into the 1960's with the stocking stuffer for the guy "what has every thing" - well, almost everything.

It is a windup shaver - it cuts 1/2 of the facial hair and pulls the rest.

Here is a neat little sight. Can anyone tell me what it might fit? It is marked Goss (not Marble-Goss) and the elevation scale is numbered at 0 and 96. It is very well made.

It fits on the left side of a round receiver of about 1 inch diameter.

Joe E. Goss was a very active sight maker and designer of the 1920s and 1930s.In the mid 1930s Mr. Goss joined the Marble's sight company. Goss sights were then marketed as Marble's Goss sights with some changes.
Your sight will most likley fit a Winchester modle 70

1878: Actually I believe since this was marked "Goss" only it was probably made expressly for a Model 54 Winchester but Gary is right, it will fit a Model 70. Hope this Helps! Jerry
