Holland calls a hanging tag that they use for custoemrs measurments a 'measuring-up' ticket. Aide from stock dimensions, wieghts, trigger pulls, etc there is a line called BLOWS and has the values R28 and L28. Contacting Holland to gain an explainaion only resulted in the following:
"...Blows which was a measurement carried out back then but we no longer do that measured the strength of the striker. However having asked a couple of my colleagues here who worked at the factory back then, they cannot remember what the measurement was but basically you can see they both measured 28 on each barrel!"
Anyone have any ideas what this vaule was measuring? Gun was made 1981 to set the time period.
