Time to get a new safe. Looking at all of the usual suspects Cabelas (Cannon), Liberty and Browning. Browning appears to be the most expensive. Do dealers generally discount the price as published in the Browning Catalog as they do the firearms or can I expect to pay what they ask (if I go with a Browning)? The only reason I am looking at Browning is because of the Duo set up where I can put the guns I use most often on the door for easy access.

Try Smith Security Safes. (Smithsecuritysafes.com) Located in Tontogany Ohio (near Bowling Green). He will build anything you wish, and at least when I ordered mine, would deliver (I see you're in Mich) He's been around for many years. Exhibits at OGCA. I've been very happy with mine.

Do you have a Tractor Supply near you? Two years ago I bought a nice green Cannon safe from the one near here for around $600.00. It is 22" X 30" so it isn't real big but it is not small either. It has the gold spindle handle and gold dial. Pretty nice for the money I paid for it. You might want to check and see. It is the cheapest I have ever seen a Cannon safe or any safe that size. They still sell them here from time to time for the same price. Good luck.
