OP Shawn Sidelock Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 74 Arizona	My Browning Superposed has an aftermarket recoil pad. I would like to replace it with a Browning pad. Midwest sells several styles of Browning recoil pads. Some have a white line spacer and some do not. My Superposed is from 1960. Which style of Browning pad would be on the gun when new? Thanks

For long time only Browning marked pads offered had black spacer which, as indicated above is not correct for earlier guns. Are you sure Midwest is offering old style Browning "whiteline" pads now? A Springer Spaniel, a 6# double and a fair day to hunt.

They do make the old style pads that are brown with the white line spacer. They also make one without the white line that I think looks better but would not be period correct.
