Looking at a Potter 16 ga. with Damascus barrels - but have not been able to find out anything about these guns. Anyone out there able to give me some information on these guns? Thanks in advance.

Did you examine it for proof marks, from which you might be able to learn something of it's nationality and what ammo is required? Can you get photos? Can you accurately describe what you saw?

Sellers lists 13 American makers named Potter. Of these 11 are possible. One only made flintlocks, another was a lock maker.
Pictures would really help. Especially of any markings.
