Greetings
I have a Hunter Arms 12 ga., serial no. 34166, English stock, 26 in. barrells choked cylinder and imp. mod. I am looking for a part that attaches to receiver and hits the extractor rod when the gun is opened thus extracting the spent cartridges. Any info on where to find this part or info on date of manufacture would be helpful.

There are two kinds of hunting, ordinary hunting and grouse hunting. Leopold

The gun was made in 1920. Watch for a parts gun on gunbroker or parts on Ebay. The're a little hard to find.. MDC

A few years ago I was looking for one and ended up having to make one. Hacksaw and file, it took about an hour. This part fails because, if I remember correctly, it also serves as a check on overrotation on opening. If the gun is snapped open too many times, away it goes. If I can do it, you can too. Make it of mild steel and caseharden when done.

Thanks for the reply. I don't even know what the part looks like. I know where it goes and what it does.

Has parts for "The Fulton". Though the part you are speaking of, the ejector (part number 8 in their schematic) based on your description must be a fairly high use part as it is listed as limited quantity. Order a spare firing pin or two, too. I have always found them to be quite frangible on Fultons (I usually use the tough steel from Brownells to re-make).
