It is a Patstone Bar-in-wood 12 hammer, EJECTOR. Busted all to heck at the wrist. The stock was 3/4" cast on until UPS made it into 2 pieces.
I got as far as making a piece for the wrist that replaces the busted piece and get the stock to 1/4" cast off.
I got distracted and tossed it all into the case years ago. I am thinking winter is the time to get this old gal back into 1 piece.
The ejectors were added at a later date. The action was converted to back-action to make room for the ejector mechanism. There is a lot of engineering to get all of that stuff packed in.
The rod running through the action body is the ejector acting rod. They both are drilled through the hinge pin.

The current state is what the Brits call "reduced to bits".

Joe, was the gun shipped assembled? I once bought a gun that was shipped assembled by the seller and the same thing happened. The deal went south and I got my money back. According to the gunshop owner where the gun had been sent, mine wasn't the first he'd seen to be damaged similarly. If assembled, the handlers can get more leverage on the stock to damage the gun. My shop buddy said in his instance it took over a year to get the claim paid by USPS. It took a lot of leverage to break the stock and bend the stock bolt of his 870.

I bought it broken after the owner had recieved payment for the loss. The gun price was, very discounted.
I wanted it because I had never seen a bar-in-wood ejector before.

This will keep you occupied, indoors and out of trouble. All winter. Possibly so much so that you'll need several calls to come out for dinner. grin

Assuming you have all the parts your job should not take you more than a few winter. I do not see enough of a stock to use as a pattern. That might take a few hours to take care of. But think of all the joy you will have in your project. If you get bored I have a few others that I can send you. I suspect most here have a few project guns they have picked up over the years and would be happy to have others get the completed.

Let's have some close up photos of the knuckle on that action. Then we can see how haggard you're going to be.
