I have been off this site for a long time. My wife of 42 years died a couple of years ago, after a long bout with cancer. To deal with that, I immersed myself in my work. Now, getting out of that, especially since I am now thinking seriously about retiring this mid year, I am getting back into my past interests.

Some time ago, Ken Hurst was talking about reviving Lefevers. I told him I was on board for that. Anything happening on this?

Unfortunately that project pretty much died. The only hope would be to get Tony Galazan at CSMC to consider a project like he did with the Foxes.

Jeepers, I'd think some Italian maker would claim the design as their own and run with it! Seems to me the design would readily lend itself to modern CNC type production and there would be a lot of unique sales features to attract a market, not just from Lefever collectors. I have never understood why other makers, especially in Europe didn't pick up on the ball and socket jointing. What a no brainer for strength and durability.
