I'm planning a trip from Rochester, NY to Washington, DC for a vacation. I'm going to stop at the NRA Firearms Museum for sure, and maybe Albrights in Easton MD. Anyone know of any good gun shops between Rochester and DC? American made shotguns are my hobby. I'm into Baker's (Duh) and I like looking at LC Smith's but not wealthy enough to collect them. I like Lefever Nitro Specials, not too much into the sidelocks but if it's a steal, then yea I'll buy it. Any good places come to mind for me to stop at? I like looking at high quality guns just as much as buying high quality guns.

Lion Country Supply in Port Matilda PA, just south of State College

Roger Bain and Monty Whitley have shops in Waynesboro, PA

Cabela's is just north of Harrisburg.

If you're far enough west, Hendershot's in Hancock MD

All have websites to give you an idea of what you might find at each.

Tom Gibbons at Executive Buying Service in Lancaster PA used to advertise a lot of classic American guns in the Gun List.

Thank you. I've been to Gibbons' shop before. I'll have to look into the others.

Might stop at Glenn Baker's place, Woodcock Hill in central Pennsylvania, B-C. He's got a website that includes his guns for sale.
