Time for a new want list, please post or PM me about what in the way of pre-war classic rifles you might be looking for.

There has been a lot of them entering the market place as of late and I'm running out of folks to tell.

Let me know and if something you need is available I'll let you know.

Speaking of stuff for sale does anyone recognize the maker. I've seen this work before but can't remember where.

Nice early Hensoldt scope and what appears to be a rare Lyman #35 peep. This rifle is a bargain.

Gee, Don, the Lyman 35 attaches in place of the Mauser bolt release. This is just a 48 mounted on the port side, which is normal for Model 70's.

Springfields, Mausers or Winchesters converted to left handed. The lefty conversions just intrigue me. I have a 1941 model 70 so converted and would love to get some more.

This might be an unlikely offer, but I have a Deluxe Sedgley .30-06 and a Sedgley Hornet to trade for a G&H pre war .30-06, either a Mauser or a Springfield. The Hornet is in superb condition and the '06 nearly as good save for some degrading of the barrel blue.

Michael - that rifle wasn't made by S.A. Leonard, was it? The stock architecture reminds me of his work.

It does look a little like his work but I have never seen anything but plain layout in his checkering. I think I have seen a rifle by this person before but just can't remember where.

Not what you are looking for but interesting. I'll keep you mind for them, I used to see a Sedgley or Hoffman left-hand but not so much any more.
