Took my 3 1/2 year old Britt out yesterday afternoon for a little work on some pen raised birds. Also took my son and one of his class mates to do the shooting. They managed to bag 6 of the 8 birds that Stash found. Weather was a little warm so we only worked for about an hour. My son Will is on the right. He was shooting a little 20ga Sabatti O/U. His friend Chandler is on the left. He was shooting a 28ga Yildiz.

Good job Chris! I am so glad to see a new generation is being introduced to bird hunting behind dogs, and with two barreled guns at that. It looks like he is well along the way to being an avid upland hunter.

Believe me---Stash doesn't need any help ! I hunted behind him last December, and he's a vacuum cleaner when it comes to finding birds.

Those two boys can shoot! Good work. Brittanys rule the waves. (or something like that. Maybe our friends on the other side of the pond can correct me.  )

Cool pic!!! Few things better than kids and dogs together. Good looking little FB, a good birddog can make even an unproductive journey to the bush a great day.
Excellent choices of firearms for the boys, my 14yo daughter uses a 20ga o/u. After she shot her first squirrel with it she forgot about the ejectors and when she opened it the casing bounced off her forehead - a priceless moment.

Cool! That great dog is probably one of the biggest lures to hunting for those kids.
