I have just bought this ZEISS DIAPI-D scope off the net and wondered if anybody has used one of these as the reticle adjustments only have just under one complete turn.
I intended to put it onto a little BSA custom Martini. Its a 7/8" tube and just waiting for some inserts to arrive from Brownells and wondered about the range of adjustments.
Regards, Roly.

Didn't get any advice as to the small amount of adjustment on this scope or the lack of any clicks when I first posted a photo of it here but have now mounted it on my new 223 BSA Martini which I got back from the Gunsmith a few days before Christmas and bore sighted it.
Had to put one little distance piece under the rear mount from a Coke can just to get a little bit more options on the elevation but the windage was perfect, exactly in the middle of the adjustment range.
Have yet to fire it but this little two and a half power scope looks well on it and is nice and bright looking through it with the typical German Post. Beats open sights hands down.
A big problem in putting scope sights on a Martini is because modern scopes seem to have such large rear ends to them and they have to be placed fairly high over the receiver to get access for loading and unloading.
No problem with this scope.
Regards, Roly.

Roly: Two points to mention, as I'm sure you know a scope's tube diameter controls the amounts of elevation and windage possible in a scope's adjustment. Two, the Zeiss DIAPI-D as I found out when I purchased one, was designed as a .22 scope not a centerfire scope. As a result I was told the adjustments were limited to what were needed for a .22 LR. I hope this helps a little. Very nice rifle! Cheers Jerry
