I really hate to ask this as it has been a topic for a long time. But, I tried to do a search and I can't say I found anything. I have been reloading Rem. hulls and Win. AA hulls for a long time using either Rem. STS primers or Win. 209 primers with the recommended wads like some ClayBusters and Solo 1000 powder for my 1 oz. loads. I attempt to stay under 7000 psi for my Damascus and Twist barrels. Seems as if the powder I used is no longer available. STS primers seem to be getting hard to get, so Win. 209 would be great. I am headed tomorrow to the Ohio State shoot and was hoping to do some shopping. Any recommendations?

I and friends. Of mine use Rio and Keman 1oz 1200ft / sec loads. Pressure is about 7000 psi. Check out thr Rio web site. I shoot these in all my doubles including Damascus guns

Any relatively fast powder with 7/8 oz or 3/4 oz of shot will do well. These include Clays, Clay Dot, Red Dot, E3, etc. Pressures go down significantly with reduced charge weights.
I load 7/8 oz in Rem STS hulls w/ CB wads, Win 209s, just under 17 grains E3. Pressure well under 7000 psi, velocity about 1250-1275.

Sounds good, but I have literally 4-5 garbage bags full of 2 /34" AA and RTL hulls and no other brands. Also have a couple garbage bags of these same band hulls shortened to 2 5/8" for my shorter chambered guns using a Hartin crimp.

Dave, get yourself a bag of CB 3/4 oz wads and use any of the loads on the enclosed load table. So doing, you can blow a razzberry to the 28 bore shooters!! ;-)

Check out the on line manuals provided by the powder makers, they are full of loads you will like. I am told that WW has completed a new production line for 209 primers and they are catching up with orders.

I use two Clays loads in 12-gauge Remington STS hulls. I load the green hulls with a Remington 209P primer, 16.4 grains of Clays, a TGT-12S wad and 7/8 ounce of shot -- 1200 fps at 6300 psi. When I feel the need for 1 ounce, I use the gold hulls and I up the powder charge to 18.4 grains of Clays. The "book" gives 17.9 grains for 1180 fps at 7400 LUP, and 18.9 grains for 1235 fps at 8100 LUP.

It was reported recently that there was a fire at the Hodgdon plant that did damage to the equipment that produces Clays and Clays International powders. The report stated those two powders may be in short supply for maybe up to a year. I don't know how accurate that report is, I'm just reporting what I read.
Dave, I would recommend you take a look at the IMR Reloading Data Charts and specifically the recipes that utilize PB powder along with CB1100-12 wads and the components you already have. Wonderful 24gr. (7/8 oz.) and 1 oz. low pressure recipes that I've been using for well over a decade in my damascus guns.
