I didn't make it to Backwoods this year & would like to hear some comments on The Southern from those who went.

This was my first time at the Fall shoot and I really enjoyed it. Met a lot guys from this forum and saw a lot of old faces as well. The clays course was excellent as well with some of the nicest trappers I've met.
As far as dealers go....

Vintage Doubles
Vintage Firearms
Kevin's
Gulf Breeze
Riffe guns
And a few more smaller guys.
I almost came home with a nice side lever Lang hammer gun but I resisted the temptation.
The attendance seemed way down from what others said but I had a great time and look forward to going back.
