Thanks, It does read 2925 also has T which I understand is for Twist Barrel. Also has a 5. The gun looks like the one at the top of this post, apparently a model 34. Mine actually appears to be in the same condition as the one shown. I have pictures on my phone but do not know how to post them. Thanks for your help in determining the yr. of mfg.

The pop up sight on the A J Aubrey, what is it for and how does it work. Do you push it in on front or back and it stands up, but what is it for. When shooting aren't we supposed to look at the bird rather than the barrel?

I wonder what commonly carried man-item of the day was handy to push the plunger down and make the mid sight appear.

I used a BIC pen on that one but I think they're a little late as a Meriden F/A accessory.

I used a knife, but why, seems a waste.

I just want to point out that some of Joe Vorisek's original assumptions in dating M.F.A.Co guns were off. For instance.....an Aubrey hammer gun did not even hot the market until the Spring of 1908.

Hey Joe, sorry to circle back late, but where were those assumptions made? DBJ?
