Anyone ever use this? Worth the price compared to the other cheaper cold blue solutions out there? I just need to touch up a couple spots that have light surface rust on an old gun.
Thanks

Brownells stuff works as well as any and better that some bill x2 I've found nothing better than OxphoBlue and Dicropan T4. I use both because one gives a deep Belgian blue and the other a dense, dead black.

Thanks. I'll think I'll check out Brownells then. I just noticed their bluing kit while looking at their replica buttplates, I'm in the process of restoring an old Ithaca lewis. I noticed your signature said you're from upstate NY. Where about? I grew up in NY and just recently relocated to Maine.

Maine, huh? that sucks...no birds there. I'm on Lake Ontario, midway between Rochester and Niagara Falls.

Western part of the state, huh? I'm from a small town north of Albany, between Saratoga Springs and the Vermont line. I was lucky enough to have a couple of state forests close by where DEC would stock pheasants every fall. And it didn't hurt to know the forest rangers who stocked the birds either
