Just put URL in front of it. Or copy and paste it from photobucket. John

Poorhouse:
You will have a very nice rifle when things are finished. You are an ambitious guy. Just one question: Where in the world did you find that buttplate? I have been searching for one like it - similar to the old style G&H buttplates that were imported from Europe prior to WW II. If you or anyone reading this has one tucked away in a parts box that could be the focal point of a free market exchange, please let me know.
Again, thanks for sharing and good luck with the finish work.
Antonio

Your high wall project is most interesting, including the caliber. I hope you'll post more pictures as the work progresses.

I don't understand how this is a folly, it looks like a great project, and a great old historic cartridge. Mike

The .303 Westley Richards was a gift from a white hunter to a client (now deceased) during a safari in, I believe, South Africa. Rifle came back to the States where it was completely refurbished (engraving by Mike Dubber). Because of its light weight, I have carried rifle during several hunting seasons, but have yet to meet a deer careless enough to be within iron-sight range.
Alas, time to thin the herd…..

Don't see any buttplate, but that close coupled set trigger is nice.

Actually, the trap buttplate and grip cap are on a pre-war Niedner Farquharson.
