Miller, can you give us some information on the provenance of Infallible triggers on Ithaca shotguns. I'm not familiar with that connection.

8-Bore; This was something that Bob Elliott told me in a phone conversation I had with him about this gun. I do not know where he got his info that Ithaca fitted sme Infallible triggers in this time frame. The trigger housing carries patent dates from 1912 which were issued to A H Worrest of Lancaster PA. The trigger itself could definitely date to the right time, though i cannot absolutely guarantee it was installed at time of build & was not a later add on. The gun does have a two position manual safety & does not appear to have ever had the lock-out screw for the normal Lefever three position safety. It thus does have all the appearance of being original to the gun. Perhaps Walt might know if there was indeed a connection between Ithaca & Infallible triggers.

Terry Fron the description, you must have purchased that little G Grade twenty listed on Aution Arms last week. I saw that little jewel and noted the Buy-it-Now price of $695. I should have pulled the trigger, but wanted to think it over a bit; came back in an hour and it was gone! Snooze and lose they say, but I believe you got a very hard to find Lefever gun at a super price; so enjoy. And for whatever my opinion is worth, I don't think for a minute that butt-plate is original; I'd be replacting that sucker with a Lefever Monogram butt-plate (or dress it up with a nice leather covered pad if I needed more LOP). I don't think it is original, I am going to replace it.
