I just picked up a beautiful little stalking rifle in 6.5X52R. For those not familiar with it , in the U.S. it is known as the 25-35 Winchester. I'm in need of some brass so that I can go out and have some fun shooting this little gem. Light weight, very low recoil and a tack driver out to 75 yards. Does anyone have some brass or whatever??

You can form all the brass you need from easily obtainable .30-30 cases. One pass through the .25-35 full length sizing die should do the trick. If this is a problem, RCBS makes case forming dies. I have a set of .30-30 to .219 Zipper forming dies you could borrow in a pinch.

Bob,
You are lucky, a 25-35 will be much easier to load for than the 6.5x58R( which would be fun too), 30-30 brass is everywhere(see xausa's posting) and the groove diameter of the barrel will fit standard .257" bullets(but check). It shouldn't be hard to have it going before this years season is over.

I sold my 25-35 and have 49 Rounds sitting here. 13 rounds once fired that were loaded but bullets pulled and powder dumped, 25 new primed, one new unprimed and 10 fired rounds with spent primers in them. They are Winchester brand and were bought in the mid 1990's. $25 shipped or trade for 6.5x58R Sauer brass.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.
