Hey guys, any help you can give is appreciated! I own a K-32 that the factory has verified was imported in 1974 and the Grade marking is IX from the original work order. I am aware of the marking I through IV for Standard thru Crown Grades. This is off the wall! I do know there was a "Munchen" and "Bavaria" in a K 32 in the early days. They still have a "Bavaria" in the K 80. I think if anybody has a 1970's era Europa catalog it may show this grade. I have contacted du Pont but don't expect much from them and if I can get the grade provenance from them or someone it will remain with the gun. I will be glad to furnish pix if it helps! Thanks for any help! Lee Moege.

I was fortunate enough to get a response from DuPont on my Krieghoff. It is indeed a Munchen Grade, one of 6 imported by Europa Corporation as 4 barrel skeet sets. Apparently the IX marking is for that grade. Ernest Marlette also identified the engraving as Munchen from others he has worked on in the past. Hopefully someone else can use the info I have uncovered. Lee.
