My VH 16ga Parker bird gun is built on the standard weight #1 frame. The barrel lug where the size 1 is marked also has an x in front of the number.
Any idea what the x means?...Geo

George, it's probably an inspectors mark but we don't know for sure. It's not uncommon to see the "x" at various places.
