It's going to need a new recoil pad. I'm not bringing it up just to nitpick but it makes me wonder what other things need replacing. I know when I sell a gun I always try to disclose both the good and the bad, if not in writing at least through photos.

Ivory is becoming more of an issue; I recently bought a Japanese O/U from James Julia with a similar end cap. They would not ship the gun until they removed the ivory. Somebody is ending up with a nice free ivory collection, but if it saves even one elephant and cuts off the major source of funding for Boko Haram then I'm all for it.

I would have demanded a refund from James Julia...and Cabelas is just another example of being ill informed.

They would like to outlaw the sales but so far it's just illegal to sell or buy in screwed up states...like New Yawk, Washington and New Ja'sey.

Ivory in this country has noting to do with living elephants or the funding of African radicals....just more miss-information put out by lying liberals.

If the African countries would establish a LEGAL trade in ivory, they'd get more than enough money to afford the additional law enforcement to deal with the illegal trade, as well as more revenue coming into their countries. Of course, given the nature of most African governments, most of the money would probably end up in the pockets of their national leaders.

They're too stupid to do that....they'd rather let their people starve and destroy it.
