I aquired this double barrel muzzle loader and know nothing about it. I have taken pictures of the markings. The barrels are 20 inches. It has roses and flowers carved in the wood and engraved into the top of the barrels. The barrels are half octagon and half round. They appear to be approximately .410 size. It also looks like the stock detatches from the pistol grip. Any help identifying and putting a value on it would be appreciated. Thanks

Maybe if you removed it there might be some additional markings?

Looks like Birmingham proof marks. Lock converted from flint to percussion. 1820ish? Hope you get more replies.

Quite agree that it looks like a Birmingham mark but the gun looks Continental Europe in origin. Imported to Britain, depending on date and country of origin, it may well have gone through a British Proof House before resale. Looks like a good restoration project. Lagopus.....
