I keep looking at the unfinished Sabatti with the 30" barrels and wonder who has the inletting pattern for this O/U gun. It seems rather seductive to me to be able to pick my own wood get the fit I want and need, plus the Ken Hurst engraving I want. Not having to take the left overs from someone else's plate, does have an appeal to this working man's budget. I can be talked out of this with logic, and I'm ready to hear your input folks.

I've been looking at that too.
Sabatti makes the O/U frames for a bunch of the smaller Italian makers. I don't think it's going to be POS. And it's a possibility that a RizziniB or Cesear Guarini sideplated stock might fit.
Inletting that design is not too bad, the fore end is very simple compared to most others - all the ejector mechanism is in the frame.
