I have found a W&C Scott 12 bore with ejectors made in circa 1924 according to serial number chart here. I don't know the model number but it has moderate engraving and two screws on the floor plate. Nice & tight. Gun looks all original except barrels are 27 & 5/8 inches. Is this common for WCS guns or should barrels be exact lenght? Any help is apreciated.

I suppose anything is possible. That was in that time frame when shorter barrels were in vogue. I had a 1918 Purdey that had been re-barreled at a lated date with 27 1/2" barrels.
