A crazy person I know in Oz is looking to make some 20ga wads and is needing some help finding a proper cutter/punch thingie. Any leads you might have to a durable sort of proper sized tool for him would be most appreciated.
have another day Dr.WtS

Here are some ideas. http://www.handloadersbench.com/forum98/24022.htmlI've made OSCs using a 20 gauge screw-in choke to punch out plastic OSC's from milk cartons.

Ooops- my bad- the one I have is a 12 gauge- too big for 20 gauge wads I am afraid. Forged steel, meant to me struck with a hammer I believe, over a pad or blotter of felt of the proper thickness-

Yeah, what skeettx said. Get them already cut from Craig Smith at Circle Fly. Cost about 1 1/2 cents each ($0.015) including postage when you but a 1,000 of them. Jolly

Shipping to Australia might be a little weird cost wise, but, agree, that is the best way to get what he needs.
Is he crazy enough that he lives in the bush and doesn't have mail delivery?
Best, Ted
