What's a fair price these days for a 20ga 1 1/2 Flues with 26" bbls and double triggers? I think the barrels may have been cleaned up a little and the chambers extended. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Most 20 bore Flues Models have some of the thinnest and lightest weight barrels ever put on a gun. Such a gun with metal removed from the chambers, IMHO is borderline safe and good only for parts.. If the wood is nice and original, worth maybe $300. .. MDC

The last 20ga Flues I saw was Grade 1 1/2 with unaltered with 28" chain damascus barrels. Asking price was $650. I kicked myself for a couple of months for not buying it.
M D makes a good point but SOME Flues were built heavy for their gauge. My son has a 12ga that weighs 8 3/4 lbs. I would have it checked over by a COMPETENT double 'smith before buying.

If you decide to pass or part it out please let me know, need some parts for mine.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I posted. I am brand new to Ithacas and so didn't know to be on the lookout for thin barrels. If it is safe to shoot, the asking price seems reasonable. I'll need to do some more homework though.
