OP Alex Johnson Sidelock Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 132 Grand Forks	Hello, a few years ago I purchased a Pigeon grade LC Smith from a local dealer. The metal is pretty decent, but the stocks are definitely showing there age. I am wondering if I go to the trouble of restocking it where one would go to get a reproduction buttplate and, also, the dog head shield that is inlayed into the forearm.

Good stock guys can do wonders with repair of cracks (likely in the head of the stock and behind the lockplate) and refinishing. I assume you're in N. Dakota.
