I picked up at a gun show today a pocket manual for the "Drilling M.30 Beschreibung Bedienung und Wartung", "Ausgabe Juni 1941", publication date July 10, 1941, in high condition. This is for the Luftwaffe drilling. The manual is 32 pages, buff cover, with 21 technical manual-type photos throughout.
Another advantage of speaking German - the dealer likely didn't know what he had.
Any idea on value?

What a cool find. Love to see a picture or two.
I have no idea what one would be worth.

Dave, Back in the 80s, I bought a reprint of that manual in a local gunshow. There would be a large difference in value between an original and a reprint. Be sure of which you have. Mike

Ami:
Taking a close look at it, I'm inclined to think it a reprint. The corners are just too sharp and the paper too white to be 77 years old. A little bit of patina on the staples ... could be misleading.
Still, it's a fascinating book. Especially the "DO NOT SLAM THE DRILLING SHUT" part, among others.
Well worth the $2 I spent on it.

Dave, I agree, but I think the information you gained from it will be worth much more than $2. Mike
