I and three of my friends just attended and had a great time! The sporting clays course was excellent, very nicely laid out, and long - you really needed the recommended cart. wink The sided games were a hoot!

Congratulations to the club and all the volunteers. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the ladies made KILLER cookies.

We've already made plans to attend next year!!!!!

I'll second your opinion Doug. A very good course and interesting side events. Their course layout is really nice but you do need a cart to keep the flow moving. Shot the Incoming Challenge for practice on Friday and the Scottish Scamper, both good fun. I used my Army&Navy back action hammer gun with black powder loads and when shot for score on Saturday I went 27 for 30 and the spectator's loved the show! Big bang and lots of smoke. The "Scamper" was very good, but I got crossed up with the opposing rabbit doubles. Could not decide which to go for first and then it was just a bit too late. I changed guns for the "Hunter's Challenge" and Saturday My gun and I were not on speaking terms. Much improved on Sunday! Planning on returning next year.

I was there also. Very nice events and targets in a very pretty setting.
All the volunteers had things running smoothly, and boy, the food was good!

I and a group of four friends shoot there and what has been said above is true. Great course (yes you need a golf cart) and the people were great and went out of their way to help. Only thing that I would change would be to bring back the vendor tent. I know that cost them some shooters that were planning on going. But overall it was a great shoot.

Doug, it's good to see you posting. Kinda miss your perspective when you're away for long spells.

Great shoot again this year. These folks really go all out.

Free cookies and snacks. Free bottled water all around the course. Fair pricing for the event and side events. What's not to like!!!!

My third time attending the Tunnel of Trees & I'll do my best to be back for 2019.

I enjoyed shooting the main event (would really have enjoyed it had I shot a bit better) & I preferred the cookout to the previous banquet type Saturday evening dinners. The burgers & bratwurst were great not to mention the ice cream for dessert.

A very well organized & run event. I did miss the vendors & their "eye candy" though.
