Are Ithaca sunburst pads (the new ones that Galazan and ICD was selling a few years ago) still available anywhere these days?

Thanks,

Bill

They were in Galazan Catalogue No. 7, but they aren't in the Galazan Catalogue Nos. 8 or 9. They were made by, or for, Ithaca Gun Co. LLC up at King Ferry, New York, not Ithaca Classic Doubles. The originals were only made in medium size. The ones made in the late 1990s came in small (5 inches long) and medium (5 3/8 inches long).

P.S. back in the day Ithaca always referred to their pad as being of "bridge trestle" design. "Sunburst" is a term added by collectors in later years.

Walt,

Your PM box appears to be full. Apparently I squeaked in the last one. I tried to send another and it bounced with a message that your box was full.

Thanks to all for the good info, I've PM'ed Mr.Snyder. I tried Galazans awhile back, but as Researcher indicated they're no longer being catalogued.

I noticed the new "Ohio" Ithaca has the traditional "bridge trestle" (you learn something new every day!) pads pictured on some of the 37's in their website, more conventional pads on others.

Bill
