Hello, thanks for looking at my post; I'm new to this so I really appreciate it.

The gun I am looking at has the following:
- black powder proof (no nitro or re-proofs); pre 1905 I think, I plan on using RST low pressure loads
- no barrel pitting
- not Damascus
- wall thickness .026 / .027
- 13/1 proof marks
- bores are .727 for both

My main question is should I be concerned with the 13/1 proof and .727 bore diameter? If I understand it correctly, 13/1 means measurement was between .719 & .728, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Any other comments are welcome.

Thanks again.

At a glance, that all looks correct. I think the only issue with proof and the bore diameter is that you have a limited amount of wall thickness remaining for lapping before it is out of proof. I would just factor that into the price, personally, assuming you are in the US where proof is not required.
