Well while we are on this subject, I'm still looking a vintage case for a 32" hammer gun and also a English or similar 20 gauge case for my 21 skeet.

Thanks Perry, that is all very useful. I see a Tourbon on Ebay right now. While on ebay use their search feature to look for Guardian cases from England before making up your mind on the Tourbon.

Oops!! Make that search for a GDK Guardian Takedown shotgun case.

Where are the GDK cases made? The ebay descriptions are a bit light on that information. Thanks for any information you can provide.

The best information I could find was that they may be made in Spain or Italy. I am not sure. Hey, they may be made in the same factory/back room as Tourbon in China, but I really don't know. I just know that the price I got even with the very high international shipping was still the same or cheaper as a Tourbon. I am pleased with the two that I have.

I just tried to ask Google where the GDK cases are made and came up with nothing other than one possible mention of Turkey. Bottom line, they are as good as any I have seen for the price. The insides are nicely finished and will fit most takedown guns "adequately."

The GDK cases look like the cases I bought a few years ago for my 34" and 36" eight and ten gauge guns. I had the notion that they were made in China. Those rare cases were the bargain of the century, the only cases I could find for the big guns.
