I do not see the point of his video. Of course the gun when bang and pellets came out. How could they not?
What he does not show is whether the barrels are scored or the chokes (did he say how much choke?) swelled. And what were the loads exactly? 40 grs of Goex 2f? Or something more reasonable? Looks like he has a single, lubed, Circle Fly wad. No overpowder wad of any sort. I would wager that they were very anemic loads. Without a lot more information, there is really nothing to be learned here.

This proves you can always learn something new.
The most recently developed fact apparently is that you cannot fire a gun with rebounding hammers without pulling the trigger. This has come out so recently that even he seems a little confused between shots and has to examine the gun for several seconds before proceeding. I plan to practice this so that I don't lose so many birds due to no ignition.
The next is going to cause me a lot of work. With the knowledge that a plastic wad will explode a damascus barrel if choked, I am facing having to disassemble a couple of thousand rounds of loaded ammo. Safety first.
I also realize what I have been doing wrong on pattern testing. I place my cans several yards apart. I never realized the secret of the 1 foot offset at 20 yds. That technique probably contributed to his 3 out of 4 hit record on the tests.
Thank heaven for the next generation of large ballistic experts with impeccable shooting form to carry the torch. God bless the internet.

How did that idiot come up with all those facts? You just know he's the expert at his local club. Probably teaches hunter safety classes too.

There’s a reason I do not watch YouTubers’, but the comments had me wondering. Kinda wish I didn’t just waste 5min to watch.. now i reaffirm why I don’t watch YouTubers - most have little knowledge and/or are new to vintage arms.
