Great stuff. If I heard him right, he was loading 75 grs of 3f, which is a reasonably stout load. I didn't not hear what the lead charge was. I was surprised to see him loading corn meal for a cushion wad and without even a card between that and the black. I wonder how those loads would look on a pressure and velocity test? But the paper results look good and birds fell from the sky.

Jay Meneffe (who else?) former owner of Polywad applied for a patent according to this article below using ground walnut hulls and corncob replacing wads. Gil

Did I hear right that he's patterning at 75 yards? Check at 14 min into the video.

I understood him to say 35 yards, but I could have been mistaken.

I hear 75 yards pretty clearly but took it as misspeaking. Brent, he said his shot charge was 33 grams - 1.16 oz. The use of cornmeal instead of a wad is fascinating.

When it shows him shooting at the plate it certainly looks more like 35 than 75. Just saying.

He initially said the diameter of the pattern was 75 cm and was shot at 35 yards. He misquoted himself. Mixing the metric system with the Imperial system tripped him up. 75 cm is 30" more or less.
