I bought every RBL as they came out to have guns that could handle any kind of shot required. I have actually settled into my RBL-16 for much of my hunting and my RBL-.410 for fun skeet shooting. The 12-, 20- and 28-gauges have just sat in my gun room. I got my 28-gauge with a particular great Dove pass in mind and after I used it one season young folks fleeing the city moved into and completely refurbished the abandoned farm house I use to lean back against and shoot tall incomers for my late English Setter Skitso to retrieve like Ichiro in the outfield.

While we see a lot of gripes about CSMC on the sites I never had anything but great service out of them and Lou going way above and beyond for an issue that was really my fault.

I have one and bought it with an employee discount and cost me about that new. I wouldn’t sell it for three times that !!!if you knew how they were made and what they really cost to make you would understand it’s a true Anson and Deely system, not a modern design, which is very hard to make and requires quite a bit of gunsmithing I have almost 100,000 shells through my gun, and I love it

100K shells through a RBL. That's a testimony worth listening to.

Buy it. I hunt ducks and shoot clay’s with my RBL 20. It’s not a Reserve Launch, but a great gun. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. I have 2 guns from CSMC. A Model 21 & RBL. I have always had great service from them.

What makes the Reserve model different from a standard RBL?

Nothing. Pure marketing ploy.

They make some beautiful guns, but too many horror stories for me.

My wife lets me buy all the guns I can hide.
