It appears that Sportarms has finally brought their “Hussey” branded guns to market. I assume that the guns are actually being made in Spain or Turkey, but I don't know that to be a fact.

Does anyone know who is actually making the guns and where they are being made? Also, how are they priced?

Thank you.

Hello, on the Sportarm website they have announced the sale of Hussey branded accessories cartridge bags, gunslips etc. I cannot see anything whatsoever regarding Hussey guns. Just the usual "English' style" AYAs etc.
Have a look at their website, sorry I don't have any further help.
PS. Apologies, I now understand they have an announcement re Hussey guns on their Facebook page, which I am unable to access.

From Sportarms:

“Thank you for your interest in our HJ Hussey’s - the guns are being made for us by Grulla in Northern Spain, based on their best action and engraved to our specification. All come with self openers as standard and presented in a canvas covered leather case.)

Pretty pair of guns but I fail to see what engraving the Hussey name on them does for anyone ! There just isn`t a connection between the two......

Well, yea, there is that, but, the people making those decisions are really quite ignorant of history and the labor it takes to produce something like that, and, dare I say it, who the hell their customers are.

Have you seen the latest Jaguar advertising? I propose that gun making and upper tier car making, among countless other fields of manufacture, are in free fall, and the participants haven’t figured that out just yet.

Best,
Ted

The Sportarms guns do an injustice to the original.
